- You must be female and a member of the United States
Armed Forces (Active, Reserve, Veteran or Retired
Veteran).
You must have served at least 6 months in the
United States Armed Forces.
If you are a Veteran or Retired Veteran, you
must not have received a dishonorable discharge.
If you are on Active Duty or are in the
Reserves, you must not have received and/or have any
legal disciplinary actions pending against you.
You must believe in the Sigma Phi Psi
Mission.
- You must go through Initiation and Induction.
Note - Initiation into Sigma
Phi Psi does not consist of hazing.

Initiation
/ Induction Information

- [to admit as a a member into a sorority, club,
etc., esp. with a special or secret ceremony]
New Pledges will have a set of "Big Sisters"
who will personally guide them through the initiation
process. This process will not consist of hazing.
Sigma
Phi Psi is not a Secret Society; however, we
do not divulge our Initiation Process to non-members.
Initiation consist of tasks that each New Pledge must complete.
It is broken into three phases, and each phase must be
thoroughly completed. Also note, these tasks are in
no way demeaning. They are becoming in God's sight, becoming
of a Lady and becoming of a United States Armed
Forces Woman.
induction - [to bring
formally into a society or organization] This
ceremony will place you on "Sister Status", and at
that point, you will be able to enjoy all rights and
privileges associated with being a "Sigma Phi Psi
Sister". These rights include but are not
limited to - National Voting rights, New Pledge initiation,
supervisory roles in leadership, community service projects,
and other organizational projects. You will also have
the right to become a Chapter Founder, and your chapter will
be named after you. ex.
